Lego Social Group

We’re excited to offer LEGO®-based therapy groups, led by Leesa, a certified LEGO Therapist trained in the evidence-informed approach developed by Dr. Daniel LeGoff.

LEGO Therapy is a structured social skills program that supports children to build communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fun and highly motivating environment. Rather than free play, sessions are guided and goal-oriented, with children working together in small groups to complete LEGO builds.

Each child takes on a specific role (such as “builder,” “engineer,” or “supplier”), encouraging them to communicate clearly, listen to others, take turns, and collaborate to achieve a shared goal. With support from the therapist, children also learn to manage frustration, navigate differences, and build confidence in social situations.

LEGO Therapy can be particularly beneficial for children with autism, social communication challenges, ADHD, or anxiety, helping them develop skills that can transfer into everyday settings such as school, friendships, and family life.

Our group sessions provide a supportive space for children to practice social interaction in a natural, engaging way, while building confidence and connection with peers.

School Readiness Groups

We’re excited to offer School Readiness Groups, led by Leesa, an experienced early childhood educator, kindergarten and primary school teacher, and disability specialist.

These structured group sessions are designed to support children in developing the foundational skills needed for a confident and successful transition to school. Through play-based, engaging activities, children are guided to build key abilities across social, emotional, and early learning domains.

Sessions focus on developing:

  • Social skills such as turn-taking, sharing, and participating in group activities
  • Emotional regulation and confidence in new environments
  • Listening and following instructions
  • Early learning skills, including attention, problem-solving, and independence
  • School routines, helping children feel familiar and comfortable with classroom expectations

Leesa’s extensive experience across education and disability ensures that each child is supported at their individual level, with strategies tailored to meet diverse needs.

Our School Readiness Groups provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children can build confidence, develop friendships, and gain the skills they need to thrive as they start their school journey.

Crayon Time

 Crayon Time Groups

Our Crayon Time Groups are designed for children preparing to start 3-year-old kinder or those attending childcare who may find group routines, directed activities, or transitions more challenging.

Led by Leesa, an experienced early childhood educator and teacher, these sessions provide a gentle, supportive introduction to structured learning environments through play-based, engaging activities.

The program focuses on building:

  • Fine motor skills to support early writing and learning readiness
  • Language development and communication skills
  • Social skills, including sharing, turn-taking, and engaging with peers
  • Confidence with routines and transitions, helping children participate in directed group activities
  • Snack-time skills, including opening lunchboxes, managing food, and social interaction during meals

Crayon Time offers a nurturing and predictable environment where children can develop independence, confidence, and the foundational skills needed to thrive in kinder and early learning settings.
